Take a walk on the wild side with a 5-course tasting menu featuring a cornucopia of made-for-winter dishes like smoked goose breast with duck confit and Ptarmigan soup served with locally picked blueberries. Available November 1st – 23rd, 2018 from $90 USD per person.
Jól Christmas Menu
During December the chef puts a sophisticated spin on holiday dining with a five-course menu featuring traditional Christmas flavours like smoked Icelandic lamb carpaccio and seared scallop with pressed pork belly. Available November 25th – December 18th, 2018 from $90 USD per person.
Christmas Traditions
Guests of Hotel Husafell from December 12th – 23rd, 2018 will experience everyone’s favourite Shoe in the Window tradition and receive a special treat from an Icelandic Jolasvein Santa Claus and a letter describing the Yule Lad of the day.
Northern Lights Magic
Located in the quiet countryside away from all light pollution, Hotel Husafell enjoys an average of three aurora sightings per week during the winter months. Should the lights appear during the night, hotel guests can sign up for free automated Aurora-Wake-Up-Calls, the first of its kind in Iceland.
