THE Wildlife and Safari Travel Show will host the first public exhibition of artwork from the 2018 Sketch for Survival exhibition – this year’s collection consists of more than 400 artworks donated by leading professional wildlife artists and celebrity supporters, including Dame Judi Dench, Dame Helen Mirren, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Stephen Fry and Mary Berry…

2. 3D Victoria Falls

Fall for (or into) Zambia Tourism’s 3D recreation of Victoria Falls! Take a selfie next to the world’s largest waterfall and share it for your chance to win a 10-day trip for 2 to Zambia.

Stand at the edge of the world’s largest waterfall at the Wildlife and Safari Travel Show. Zambia Tourism is rolling out their 3D artwork of the Victoria Falls and giving you the chance to win a 10-day trip for 2 to Zambia. All you have to do is share a photo infront of the Falls using #3DZambia on social media (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) and you could win the trip of a lifetime!

3. Uganda’s Life-Size Animatronic Gorilla – Rushenya

Uganda Tourism is bringing a special visitor to the Wildlife and Safari Travel Show… a full-size animatronic Mountain Gorilla, called Rushenya. Keep your eyes peeled at the show for Rushenya and share your photos of him using #MyUganda to win a Uganda Bradt Guide and cuddly gorilla.

4. TUSK Charity Auction

Support conservation by bidding on the Tusk Charity Auction. There are some fabulous lots including a 12-day cruise, 7-day car worldwide car hire, luxury London weekend break, expedition parka, gin, limited art prints and more. All proceeds go to Tusk.

Friday will see ‘An Evening with Monty Halls’ at Harrogate’s stunning Edwardian Royal Theatre. The broadcaster, naturalist and travel writer, and presenter of C4’s brand-new three-part series “My Family and the Galapagos” will be talking about his time on the islands and the extraordinary wildlife and life-changing experience.

5. Amazing Speakers

The Wildlife and Safari Travel Show will be bursting with engaging and educational feature content,with an impressive line-up of speakers including Remembering Wildlife author Margot Raggett, television presenter, author and zoologist, Lucy Cooke, Heavy Metal Marine Biologist, Tom “The Blowfish” Hird and award-winning photographer and former BBC Natural History Unit filmmaker, Sue Flood.

6. The Avis 360 Virtual Travel Experience Theatre

Friday 28thSeptember: An Evening with Monty Halls’will be held at Harrogate’s stunning Edwardian theatre – The Royal Hall. The TV presenter and marine biologist will talk about his experience living on the Galapagos, the subject of his recent Channel 4 TV series.

Saturday 29th: SeptemberA Really Wild Eveningin Conversation with three inspirational women – Sue Flood, Lucy Cooke and Miranda Krestovnikoff – as they discuss their wildlife, nature and photography careers. Hear stories and anecdotes about life in the wild.

Saturday evening will feature three inspirational women talking about their wildlife, nature and photography careers. ‘Really Wild Evening – in Conversation with Sue Flood, Lucy Cooke and Miranda Krestovnikoff’ will also be at the Royal Theatre.

8. Monty Halls Opening the Show!

TV presenter and marine biologist Monty Halls opens the Wildlife and Safari Travel Show at Harrogate Convention Centre at 10am Saturday 29th September.
