Located in the south-west region of Oregon, it’s home to over 200 campsites, many species of wildlife and numerous breathtaking hiking trails that revolve around the lake itself. Crater Lake is the cleanest large body of water in the world, due to being fed entirely by rain and snow melt.

While you’re visiting, experience the spectacular ‘Rim Drive.’ A 33-mile road that loops around the entire lake. This drive takes about 3 hours to complete and has over 30 amazing scenic pullover areas. Some of which will give you magnificent views of waterfalls, rock formations, and Wizard Island. A volcanic cinder cone which erupted 755 feet out of Crater Lake some 7,300 years ago. A word of caution. Drive carefully if you are in a larger vehicle. The road is very narrow.

The stunning Glacier National Park is located in northern Montana, on the Canada-United States border. Comprised of over 1 million acres of land, Glacier National Park, is a veritable Eden. It hosts over 1,000 different species of plants and hundreds of species of animals. Some of which include moose, Grizzly bears, and mountain goats, the official symbol of Glacier National Park. The National Park Service protects this extensive piece of land known as the “Crown of the Continent Ecosystem.”

The animal lover in you will revel in the hundreds of species of birds. This national park has some of the most excellent fishing available in the United States. There are twenty-three different species of fish residing in the park and no required permits. Hence, this makes Glacier National Park a fisherman’s paradise.
